Hi all ! Anyone have any info on "Burlesque Uncovered" - new movie starring Immodesty Blaize" ? I know it's on release in Jan and the DVD is available early Feb, but can't seem to find a cinema showing the film. Or is it just being released in London? which would be typical, I miss out on SOOOOO MUCH living up north!

Woops have put this in wrong bit - should be under "book and film" , sorry!
have done some looking around and yes, the film seems to be showing in London only - as I suspected! Curse my northern location!
But at least it's out on DVD in Feb , so I will hopefully find a copy amongst my birthday pressies on valentines day!

Yep you are right, I had a proper look and it is on in a few northern towns - not Leeds or York tho, unfortunately!

That's ridiculous when you bear in mind we have one of the best burlesque nights in the country!!! They should show it at the Electric.

It is showing again at the Electric, Wednesday 3 March 9pm.
The reason the first showing sold out is Modesty Blaise is introducing the film in person...

Hi Ladies,
We went to see it in Southampton - was only one for one night.....
But I was quite disapointed - didnt like it at all. Didnt tell me anything about burlesque appart from its stripping.
So completly missing the point.
